Recycling Kiwi

Recycling Kiwi is a great business who aims to help find end of life solutions for packaging. They run an initiative the Soft Plastic Recycling Programme which is all abut informing kiwi’s about how to keep plastic bags and packaging out of the landfill. They encourage people to collect all the soft plastic packaging from home, then drop them into the soft plastic recycling bins at supermarket and retail premises. These soft plastics are then made into a large range of plastic products which are on sale in New Zealand.

Gina from the RX team has found that this initiative has allowed her to half her rubbish that is sent to the landfill. Make sure to look out for the soft plastics recycling bin at your local store.

Located in Ponsonby, The Curious AF Bottle Shop will be open until July 31st. This store will feature a range of alcohol-free drinks including spirits, wines, beers and even champagne. Equal parts shop and gallery, this space introduces visitors to the wide variety of different drink options as well as further normalise not drinking alcohol.

It is great to Lisa King and AF drinks helping kiwi’s to explore non-alcoholic drink options and challenging the cultural norm.
